BackBar Pro is made by Backbar HQ LLC. You can permanently delete your BackBar Pro account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by emailing us. This page explains how, and exactly what gets deleted.
Delete your account from the app
1. Open BackBar Pro and sign in.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top right of any screen to open Setup.
3. Scroll to the Account section and tap "Delete Account".
4. Type DELETE in the confirmation box, then tap "Permanently delete my account". Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete your account by email
If you cannot sign in, email support@backbarhq.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
Your sign-in credentials and account profile.
Every client record you created: names, phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, notes, and hair profiles.
Your appointments, color formulas, services, products, payment records, expenses, gift cards, and tax details.
All photos you uploaded, including client before-and-after photos, receipts, and profile pictures.
Any active subscription is cancelled so you are not billed again.
What is kept, and for how long
Payment and payout records held by our payment processor, Stripe, are kept as long as financial and tax law requires (generally seven years). We do not control this retention, and these records are not used to identify you inside BackBar Pro.
Ordinary server logs and backups may contain data for up to 30 days before they age out on their own.
Deleting only some of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove information. Individual clients, appointments, formulas, photos, products, and expenses can each be deleted in the app at any time, and those deletions are permanent.
