These terms cover the BackBar Pro refer-a-friend program, run by Backbar HQ LLC ("we", "us"). Every stylist has their own referral code and link, found in Settings > Account > Refer a Friend.
How it works
Share your referral code or link with another stylist. When they sign up and make their first BackBar payment, you both get a $28 credit toward your BackBar subscription. There is no discount at signup - the credit applies after their first payment goes through.
Credits are applied automatically to your Stripe customer balance and reduce what you owe on a future invoice. If you have not made your own first payment yet when your friend qualifies, your credit is held and applied as soon as you do.
Limits
You can earn up to 12 referral credits in any rolling 365-day period. Referrals beyond that limit do not earn a credit for you, though your friend still gets their own $28.
You cannot refer yourself. An account that shares an email address or phone number with the referring account does not qualify, and no credit is issued on either side.
One referral code is used per signup. If someone enters both a partner code and a stylist referral code, the partner code is the one that counts.
Other rules
The credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash, and can only be used to reduce a BackBar subscription charge.
If your friend's first payment is refunded, any unused credit from that referral is removed.
We can change or end this program at any time, with notice where practical. A credit already applied to your balance is never taken back except in the self-referral and refunded-payment cases above.
