Talk to us
The fastest route is inside the app: tap the gear icon in the top right to open Setup, then Account, then Help and Support. That opens a message thread with us, and your account details come along with it so we are not guessing.
If you cannot sign in, email us instead. Include the email address on your account and what you were trying to do, and we will pick it up from there.

Common questions
What do founding members get?
The first 100 stylists on the waitlist get Premium - the full tax engine, year-end package, advanced analytics, and text reminders - for $24/mo, the price of Basic. That price is locked for life: as long as you keep your subscription active, it never goes up. If the founding spots are gone when you join, you still get first access at launch and the 14-day free trial.
When does BackBar Pro launch?
Soon - we're putting on the finishing touches. Waitlist members get first access and an email the day doors open. No spam in the meantime, just that one email.
Will I need a credit card to try it?
No. At launch, every account starts with 14 days free, no card. You only add a payment method if you decide to keep BackBar when the trial ends.
Can I bring my clients over from another app?
Yes. Export a CSV from your current app and upload it under Settings > Import Clients - we handle the import for you so your book arrives intact.
What’s limited on the Basic plan?
Nothing that holds your data. Clients, formulas, photos, and bookings are unlimited on both plans, and both send automatic email reminders and confirmations. Premium adds text reminders and confirmations, the Color Bar (cost per gram from what you paid for the container, so every bowl prices itself), the scanner that puts products on your retail shelf, the full tax engine, the year-end package, and advanced analytics.
How do the tax estimates work?
You answer a few questions (filing state, status, dependents) and BackBar Pro estimates federal and state set-asides from your actual income, then reminds you before each quarterly deadline. It’s a planning tool, not tax advice - your tax professional has the final word.
