Exporting from your current app
Every major booking app can export your client list as a CSV. We keep step-by-step export guides for the big ones:
Using something else? Send whatever your app gives you. We read the file on our side and work out the columns, so there is nothing to rename or rearrange first.
How it works

Export your list
Download your client CSV from your current app. The guides above show exactly where.

Upload it
On a computer, open BackBar Pro, tap the gear icon to open Setup, then Account, then Import Clients, and upload the file.

We load it
A person reviews the file and loads your clients. If anything looks odd, we ask you first.

Check it off
The same screen lists every import as Pending review or Imported. Anything sitting too long, message us and we chase it.
This one has to be done from a computer. On a phone or tablet the upload button will tell you to use the web version, because file pickers on mobile cannot reliably hand over a CSV.
Safe to run anytime
Existing clients are never overwritten by an import, so it is safe to start adding clients by hand and import the rest later.
If the export is missing something or looks odd, we come back to you before loading anything rather than guessing.

If you would rather not touch a spreadsheet at all, we will walk the whole move with you. Open the import screen and tap Contact us on the White glove card, and a real person picks it up from there.
